Well good evening friends. Mr. Truffle and I have had the most enjoyable holiday, let me tell you.
As you can see we were all red, white and blue. The morning started with a beautiful sunrise staying clear for all of Sunday. Wasn’t the original 4th a Sunday also?
We started with all American breakfast, grits, eggs, hash browns sausage AND bacon. Of a course my husband insisted on fresh squeezed OJ! What a slave driver!
The remainder of the morning was spent planning the day’s activities; Lunch, Dinner, decorations, treats, and sparklers.
A number of holiday boxes were created the night before consisting of 4th of July cookies, candies and flags. These were gathered up and delivered in the late morning. (see pics below!) Unfortunately for some, we found many of the intended recipients out for the day, forcing us to look for substitutes.
We elected to spend the day at home keeping with the traditional barbeque. As the sun dipped we uncorked some Summer fun and grilled a variety of meats and vegetables.
Please enjoy the photo’s and feel free to use any of the ideas.
Please check out Http://thetablescaper.com For some summertime fun!

Everything looks fabulous!! Very patriotic! I can hear Stars & Stripes Forever playing in my head as I view these photos.
ReplyDeleteSuch a patriotic table. I think the napkin rings are my favorite.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for being a party of "Summer Sundays".

How pretty. Wow, I am amazed at all the wonderful detail with every single picture. You really did it up right. I love it all. Thanks so much for joining TTT. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteHi Shannon,
ReplyDeleteYour Tabletop entry was right next to mine and I couldn't help but notice the colors so similar to mine. I was happy to see someone else doing a 4th display.
I love everything you did. Please tell me you did not make those so cute cookies...
I loved the red and white flower on the card. Where did you find those?
I wish my patio looked as good as yours.
