And we’ve only just begun:
Today’s area was my pick. I’ve decided to work on the kitchen’s drop-box. You know, that end of the counter where everything gets piling up on (and on)!
You know how it goes, Mr. Truffle likes to have important stuff laying someplace where he will see it and address it at the appropriate time. My issue is not wanting to look at it, so I find a drawer to put it, but seems that important bills or notices get mixed up with junk mail and at times, we’ve really had some issues losing some “important” items. Finally, we came up with a solution. I picked up an attractive container where Mr. Truffle can place the important stuff, leaving me in charge of everything else. Well, it seems to work for him.
Have you had a chance to check out Jen (
www.momstew.com )? I believe she’s been quite busy. Take a peek and let me know what you think.
So, come on girls, grab your apron and join us!
Good luck all!
It’s Day two of our 21 days of de-cluttering:

We’re addressing the accessory drawer, and you never know what’s to be found. Even in my household of two, my co-habitant leaves unapproved items in the wrong drawer, but what is a wife to do. I will try Jen’s approach and simply strip out the drawers and address the items. I believe she’s on to something ( WWW.momstew.com ). What do you think? Anyway, once we clean it out, we simply move items to like drawers/shelves, and at times try Jen’s use of crocks.
Come on girls, grab your apron and join us!
Good luck all!

Hi All, and Welcome!
It is great to be writing again. I have had some adjustments to make here and I am making the best of it by jumping in and reorganizing the home nest and claiming my home life again.
My girlfriend Jen (
www.momstew.com ) and I have created a twenty-one day home de-cluttering challenge! ………um, with weekends off; oh, and Jen’s birthday is March 12th, so well, that’s off too. But otherwise, it’s a twenty-one day challenge!
Grab your garbage bag and join us. Together we will make Spring Cleaning a breeze, leaving us more time for fun. Every other day I will pick an area; Jen does the same on the even days. Day 1 (March 5th) is Today! We decided together to be the “Spice Girls”. Cleaning out, and redoing our kitchen’s spice area. Take a peek, even better, join in our challenge. Be sure and show us yours after all, we’ve shown you ours. What do you think?

PS, It’s also fun to peek into each other’s styles (and stuff). I can’t wait to ask Jen for her “Zip Sauce” recipe. I noticed a jar in her spice shelf. It is a local favorite here in the Detroit area.
